9-year-old baby diet Chart
Ideal Weight and height
Your baby’s growth pace will start to slow by the end of her first year. From now until her next growth spurt (which happens during early adolescence), her height and weight should grow continuously, but not as fast as in those first months of life. She may have earned 4 pounds (1.8 kg) in four months or less as an infant, but 3 to 5 pounds (1.4–2.3 kg) are likely to be her complete weight gain throughout the entire second year. Continue to plot her readings on growth charts every few months to ensure that she follows the ordinary growth curve in general. As you will see, there is now a much wider variety of what is “normal” than in previous centuries. The average girl weighs about 23 pounds (10.5 kg) at fifteen months and is nearly 30.5 inches (77 cm) tall; the average kid weighs about 24.5 pounds (11 kg) and is 31 inches (78 cm) tall. They will each earn about 1 1⁄2 pounds (0.7 kg) over the next three months and expand about an inch (2.5 cm).

Keep in Mind Points or Tips for 1-year diet
- Babies may need 20-32 oz breast milk / formula / milk at about 12 months/1 year, so remember to restrict milk consumption so that babies have enough space to eat solids.
- You can also begin to wean off formula / breastmilk by leaving one feed at a moment. To begin weaning or proceed as long as you like, consult your paediatrician.
- You may want to gradually get rid of the bottle after 12 months if you offer it to your child.
- If you’re still giving your 12 months / year old purees, you MUST stop later in order to prevent problems. Solid foods are fully capable of chewing and eating babies at age 1. If your child is reluctant to eat lumpy food, attempt to mask half of the food and puree half of the food.
- Offer a wide range of baby foods, but don’t worry if the baby doesn’t complete it all.
- By now you might have implemented foods finger foods. If not, it’s a nice time to do that now.
- Have you began training for Potty? Don’t worry about it, though, if your child isn’t prepared for the same thing.
- Do not be scared to go for variation when using homemade baby food recipes for a year olds! Some physicians think they may become fussy eaters by remaining with the same food for a long time.
The “drawback” of going for a wide variety of ingredients is the rise in your child’s ability to ingest foods to which they may be allergic. - Do not jump to strong food from liquid. Take that slowly. Before going to strong foods, move from softer texture to semi-solid foods.
- The best time of the day to eat strong foods for your child is when they’ve just woken up in the morning or from a nap and have a lot of energy!
- Do not ignore the benefit of feeding a child with a high chair. Not only is your child safe and secure, but it’s also ergonomically simpler on your back – it takes a lot of time after 9 months of pregnancy and a year after your child!
- It’s never too late to make your one-year-old child taste good food. Before a kid attempts a fresh food, it can take up to 15 tries. So, if on Monday they haven’t eaten their carrots, don’t stop attempting on Wednesday, and even next week!
- Do not force your kid to eat anything. They may not be hungry, or they may not just enjoy a specific meal. If over a period of time they continue to refuse any specific food, it’s all right. Just as you like certain foods and hate them, so do children.
Conclusion
It is not a chore to eat healthy ; it is a practice. And there is no better moment to begin healthy eating than when you begin eating literally. Never force-feed a child. On some days, some children may eat less, and that’s totally fine. However, if for more than 3-4 successive days a kid eats less, kindly visit a doctor for further guidance. During the teething stage, a kid may eat less or may not feel well. Those days you might be able to boost breast milk / formula feed. Re-introduce the food once the kid has returned to normal. By adding some natural flavours such as cinnamon, jeera powder, lemon juice, curry leaves etc., you can change the flavour of the food if the kid does not originally accept the food. If your kid has an allergy to nuts, gluten or eggs, consult your doctor before eating any foods that may contain them.
